Every year, locals gather in the quaint village of Wootton, home of the Daltons Family, for the not so quaint, Soapbox Derby. This year, we had our very own Mr Whippy racing down the Weaver Hills, finishing in 6^th place. Driving the ‘Foamula 1’, John Finnikin took home the prize for the most imaginative go-kart as he shocked the crowds with his bath on wheels. The sun was shining and Dalton’s ice cream was a sell-out, alongside beers and a BBQ. All the money raised was donated towards a great cause; the local Air Ambulance.
